I write to you to bring light to your every concern. I want to focus today on the great blessing associated with the Gift we hold within ourselves. Does positive, uplifting energy run through your body and do you feel connected to a higher power? Do you recognize your own godliness? Do you experience an immediate knowing or receive divine truth in all that you ask? Do you listen and follow the divine guidance through your intuitive whispers or knowing from Spirit? I am continually shown how our misperceived beliefs run our lives and that the patterns which are set from conception to our early years of 6-8 years old, continue on as we recreate that same cycle. During a recent session, a woman in her early 50’s told me that she had felt abandoned by her father who had unexpectedly died when she was only 6. The love she had held in her heart was so intent, and she longed for the love and support that a special father can give. She grew up searching for that same love and through countless relationships and 3 marriages, had never found what she was looking for. “Reiki” (ray – key) is a spiritual healing practice that brings balance and an enhanced sense of well-being. The word Reiki in Japanese means “universal life energy,” the energy found in all life. The Usui System of Reiki Healing—Usui Shiki Ryoho—applies this energy through gentle touch for the purpose of healing. Reiki is easy to learn, and self-treatment is the foundation of the practice. Reiki is most often used as a home remedy to soothe the physical and mental distresses of everyday life. More and more, over the last fifteen years, Reiki is also used in conjunction with conventional medical care.

In the new healing realm of consciousness that we exist in today, we have many more healing techniques available to us. And even though many of the older techniques work as well now as they always did, we have evolved and we are now more powerful than we were, so the old techniques are no longer enough. Within our new, expanded consciousness we shift faster with less limitations—just as horses are no longer appropriate as our main mode of transportation, although, decades in the past they functioned just fine.
